Stoneware Vase – Duskfall Over Pale Jade

One of a kind.

Hand-thrown in stoneware, this angular vase draws elegance from both structure and color: clean lines softened by a veil of glazes that move like dusk settling over a still landscape. The form rises gently, flaring outward before angling back at the shoulder into a narrow mouth, creating a silhouette that feels both grounded and lifted.

Inside, a glossy glaze in pale jade green pools with depth and occasional darker flecks, evoking the stillness of a shaded spring. Just beyond the rim, this inner calm is met by a cascade of color: an auroral layering of blues, soft greens, lavender, magenta, and purple that drips gently down from the top edge like fading light against sky.

This outer glaze flows halfway down the vessel, ending in a sinuous, dripped horizon that gives way to the more serene pale jade beneath. Where the two meet, a luminous edge shimmers with gentle contrast—a meeting of movement and rest, vividness and subtlety.

This vessel holds its own as a sculptural object or as a keeper of stems.
